Do not take out from the cardboard box or remove the plastic from the substrate. Remove the tab on the packaging on the opposite side to these instructions and make a vertical cut from top to bottom (as long as possible) with a depth of at least 4 cm with a knife.
> Put the mini farm in an area that is light, but without any direct sunlight.
> Spray at least twice a day so that the cut is always damp.
> Put the mini farm at the end of a high surface so that the branch or branch cluster can grow vertically up or down.
Keep at a temperature between 13 and 22 ºC until the first shoots appear. When these shoots are at least 1 cm long, move the mini farm to a cooler place to make way for the growth phase.
- FROM 0 TO 3 ºC: They do not grow. Possible freezing.
- FROM 4 TO 8 ºC: Growth is very slow. There may be malformations.
- FROM 9 TO 17 ºC: This is the ideal temperature for growth.
- FROM 18 TO 25 ºC: Growth is very fast.
Spray the cluster of mushrooms at least twice a day.
They can crack because of not enough humidity in dry environments.
The mushrooms should be harvested just before their caps curve upwards. This is the optimal time to eat them. To harvest them, we recommend holding the entire cluster of mushrooms in your hands and twisting it a little to pull it off.
For experts: You can repeat the process immediately after the first harvest. To do this, take out the substrate from the box, make a cut on the opposite side from where you grew the mushrooms and put it back into the box, leaving the side with the new cut in the open part.
After the harvests are finished, the substrate can be used as an organic compost for home-grown plants and vegetables.
